ASP has updated its popular Ultra Cuff restraint collection with color-coded Identifier models. With their highly-visible blue, gray, yellow or pink bands, the cuffs are perfect for—as the name suggests—identifying agency/officer equipment for asset control and property recovery purposes. They’re also used by some agencies and corrections facilities to designate prisoner status (intake, medical, high-risk, etc.), some officers have even used them to designate subjects for reporting purposes; for example, the driver of a vehicle could be identified with blue cuffs, front passenger with gray, and rear passenger with yellow.
Ultra Cuffs are designed to provide the optimal combination of strength, precision, speed, security and light weight. Their unique feature set includes forged alloy frames, dual-sided keyways, interchangeable/replaceable lock sets and more.
ASP Identifier Ultra Cuffs are available in chain, hinge or rigid styles, each with a variety of available lock set/pawl configurations.
